Turbo Snail
Turbo sp.

This unassuming little mollusc makes the perfect addition to any clean-up crew, and does a good job of keeping algae off the glass (they do a less effective job on detritus in the sandbed, for which sand-sifting animals like brittlestars, Nassarius snails, fighting conches, hermits, and some sand-dwelling cukes are more reliable with). Totally reef safe and fairly hardy, they and the Astrea snails are good additions to most tanks.
